About

Origin and Purpose

The Benji Bowl is a fantasy football league which was founded in 2014 by a group of collegiate friends and competitors in Orlando, Florida. This provides camaraderie and continued connection with all league members through the tenacity of fantasy football. There are at least two official Benji Bowl events hosted among league members: The Draft and BBAC which respectively kickoff and close out each season.

Structure

The Benji Bowl is administered by the Commissioner, three Board of Directors, and the Constitution. A copy of the league constitution shall be found on this site.

This league contains 10 individuals who compete for the first thirteen weeks of the regular season where the top 6 seeds move on to the playoffs. The teams that make the playoffs then play during weeks 14-16 of the NFL season to determine the champion. The winner of the playoffs receives The Benji: the most coveted trophy in all of fantasy football.

The teams that miss the playoffs compete in a round robin tournament for the final 3 weeks to determine The Sacko. This “award” goes to the worst of the worst based on round robin performance. This individual must complete whichever daunting task the Benji Board of Directors assigns them.
